The Chancel Choir
of The United Methodist Church of Frankston
The congregation of our church receives added inspiration during our worship services through the beautiful music performed by our chancel choir each Sunday. The choir sings both classical and contemporary anthems almost every Sunday morning at our 11 a.m. worship
During the Christmas season, the choir prepares and presents a cantata celebrating the birth of Jesus, and leading up to Easter, the choir presents special music in observance of Lent, the Crucifixion and Resurrection. The choir also has performed special music during musical programs at area churches as well as the annual Gail House McElroy Community Singing, honoring the memory of our late choir director, pianist and organist.
A dedicated group of sopranos, altos, tenors and basses are members of the choir, but we are always looking for new talent to join our ranks. If you would like to be a member of our choir, please contact the church office and put your name on a list, or attend our practice sessions each Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
